The new iPhone is here. The Apple has released the new iPhone SE 2020 on 15th April 2020 and would be available for sale from 24th April 2020. iPhone SE 2020, also the version 2 of the iPhone SE released back then in 2016.
2020 iPhone SE is the most affordable iPhone Apple has ever released. It’s identical to the iPhone 8 but the processor used is the same as that of the iPhone 11 Pro i.e. the A13 Bionic Chip, third-generation Neural Engine, the fastest chip in a smartphone ever. The device comes with a 4.7 inch (11.94 cm) Retina display, wide colour along with Dolby Vision and HDR 10.

Display and Design
The latest 2020 iPhone SE shares its design with the old iPhone 8.
The device has a Retina Display of 4.7 inch (11.94 cm) widescreen LCD Multi-touch Display with IPS Technology. The screen has a resolution of 1334×750 pixel at 326 ppi.
It also fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating along with display zoom and True Tone Display.
Camera and Video Recording
The rear camera comes with a 12MP wide camera setup with f/1.8 aperture and digital zoom up to 5x. The company also introduced the new portrait mode with advance bokeh and depth control in this model.
Portrait mode with six effects is available i.e. Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High-Key Mono.
The front camera with a 7MP setup with f/2.2 aperture along with the same portrait features as that of the main camera. 1080p HD Video recording at 30 fps along with auto HDR is also available.
The device provides 3 options for the quality of the video.
1. 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps
2. 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps or 60 fps
3. 720p HD video recording at 30 fps
It also provides 3x optical zoom while recording video and can take 8MP still photos while recording a 4K video.
Battery and Power
The battery backup of this variant is almost the same as iPhone 8. The device features a non-removable Li-Ion 1821 mAh battery.
It provides video playback of up to 13 hours and up to 8 hours of playback if a video is streamed.
The device also provides audio playback of up to 40 hours.
Power and Charging
The new iPhone SE comes with the feature of Fast Charging. The device has a built-in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery which can be charger up to 50% in 30 minutes with 18W adaptor or higher (higher watt adaptor sold separately).
The device also has Wireless Charging.
Colors and Variants
The 2020 iPhone SE comes with three colors i.e. Black, White and Red (Product Red).
The product is available in three variants i.e. 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
Water and Dust Resistance
iPhone SE 2020 has resistance against both water and dust with an IP67 rating for water resistance up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
iPhone SE 2020 starts at $399 / £419 / AU$749 / Rs 42,500. The product is also the cheapest iPhone Apple has ever released.
Considering the price, it has all the ingredients to be one of the best smartphones within the price at which it’s been offered.
Difference between iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone 11
Both the smartphones are powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic Processor but, here are the major differences between iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone 11.
The iPhone 11 starts at $699 whereas iPhone SE starts at $399, $300 less. Another difference is the screen size, the screen size of iPhone SE is 4.7 inches (11.94 centimeters) as compared to 6.1 inches (15.49 centimeters) of iPhone 11.
The iPhone 11 features face ID whereas the iPhone SE doesn’t have the feature of face ID and uses Touch ID to unlock and access the device.
